So being a dad (or knowing you will be soon) really does change a lot about what you do. I was a motorcycle addict ( LOL) and miss it dearly. I LOVED riding but know what it puts me in too much danger and I could not fathom not being around to support my wife, kids, and brothers in the future. I used to ride around NEVER wearing my seatbelt in the car – until a friend from high school was killed recently for not doing so. I live lived on my cell phone while driving as I searched the web, texted, updated facebook, etc. just like any other person right???
Well watch the video below. It really just puts things into perspective. Just like anyone else, I knew this was a risk the whole time, but if this video stops even 1 person from creating a wreck like this it is a success. This video was made in Wales, but is relevant around the world!
Stop Texting while driving people…. it’s not worth the risk to you…. and as you see from this video, the others around you.

So as you know we went for our gender / anatomy ultrasound today! Alisha found out that we are having a boy ( I knew all along )
Click the link above for the ultrasound pictures that they printed for us. We tried to grab some pictures or record it but they would not allow us for legal reasons.
This morning Alisha had another checkup with the doctor to make sure that everything is going as planned.
“The Belly” is measuring correctly (17 weeks 2 days) and the heartbeat sounds good. So far so good! We have scheduled the ultrasound for August 3rd to figure out if we are having a boy or a girl. I already know its a boy, so I am not going. LOL
We will let you know as soon as we find out…. just 3 more weeks!
Also, we added a little baby tracker to our blog site ->
If you click the date it will change to show you how much longer, the due date, and how far along Alisha is.
