This weekend was set to be a busy one and our nation’s independance day was no exception.
We headed over to Edwin and Geni’s house around 12:30 so that I could get a head start on setting up Geni’s new laptop and migrating her data over for her. People started to show up in bunches and before we knew it, there was a houseful of family and family friends talking and having a great time. We chilled by the pool under Edwin’s new pool area as we ate, talked, and had a great time with great people.
Saftey First - Beer Included
I had recieved an invite from a co-worker to head over to his house for a huge firework show. He warned me that it was a big deal but I guess I just under-estimated how nice it was going to be. We got to his house at about 7:00 and hung out with some co-workers. They had about 5 tailgating tents setup with food and drinks until it began to get dark. At that time they cleared the street and began the show. They had everyone move up to the beginning of their front lawn and setup the tons of fireworks in the middle of the street. They had a full arrangement of Disney World type of fireworks. Check out the 5 minute video below taken from our Digital Camera.
After the show we headed back to Geni and Edwin’s house to hang out with the family a little longer.
